Planning a Whimsical Cape Coral Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting ~ Witch Style

As new members of the Cape Coral Chamber of Commerce, The Red Headed Witches are delighted to be officially welcomed in with a ribbon cutting ceremony that includes an article and photo in the News Press.

Time to plan our gathering!

Any time The Red Headed Witches host a function at our store, we catch the crystal ball and run with it! It's always Halloween in our home and we enjoy bringing that realm to people that may only entice in the thoughts of it during the fall season. Decor, menu, dress, music, ambiance.... All major factors in planning our whimsical witch party.

(Pintrest-ing ideas for the food is a sure fire way to get yourself amped up!)

You will want to be sure your food table is visually stimulating and carries the theme of your party. Table cloth, center pieces, even labels for your food items! I re-named ever dish on the menu, printed the labels out on fancy, antique looking paper, then burned the edging with a lighter. (Warning!! burnt paper does smell...)

We will be serving up the finest hors d'oeuvres, such as, goblin eyes, blood spatter cookies, spider hatched eggs, mini witch brooms, troll eyes and more! Mouth watering yet??? Wash it all down with our spiked Witches Brew! (Dry ice is a MUST for any and all Witches Brews! It also adds a bubbling sound effect!) Swamp water will also be available and is naturally alcohol free. (Again re-naming simple and obvious items to really create an experience. Swamp water is really just SPA water - slice up a lemon and a lime to fancy it up!)

Be sure to offer a variety. You don't want the guests to go into a sugar coma.... A mix of sweets, meats, and vegetarian options will please all.
